I’ve always been a photographer, I have a scar to prove it above my right eye. Even that didn’t teach me not to walk whilst looking through the viewfinder as a child.

After spending the first 15 years of my working life as a travelling Diplomat I settled here in Dorset, UK. Photography is my calling, my profession, and the thing that will undoubtedly drive me insane someday. I don’t photograph subjects. I photograph the way they make me feel. Admittedly, it’s a bit of a strange concept. But it’s honest – and it’s the best way to describe my approach to the craft. I assume artistic justice can be done to whatever it is I’m shooting, and I believe the human face is the best place to uncover true art for what is art if not emotion & creativity. I photograph people and aim for perfection and if that’s all you ever know about me, it’s enough to say you know me very well indeed.
